Talent Tech Labs (TTL) was founded as the R&D lab of forward-thinking boutique staffing firm Mitchell Martin in New York City. An effort to help elevate the state of play in recruitment technology by founders who are never satisfied with the status quo. Forward thinkers, change agents but most importantly; operators from within in the recruitment business. Collaborative by nature, and dedicated to understanding and applying innovation to solve large challenges—this is the ethos of Talent Tech Labs.

The TTL team discovers and drives the adoption of new technology in how people are hired —and we’re growing! Backed by global HR service giants Mitchell Martin and Allegis Group, we’re equipped with the brainpower and resources to change the Talent Acquisition space forever. Want in?

A Typical Day:

  • Build relationships with our constituent communities: heads of Talent Acquisition in corporations, CHRO’s, Staffing Executives and sponsors who support technology acquisition in HR.
  • Building relationships and listening to our communities: Heads of Talent Acquisition, CHRO’s, Staffing Executives, and sponsors who support technology acquisition
  • Communicating our value to potential subscription members acting as an ambassador for our research offerings
  • Prospecting and closing partnerships in order to drive $800,000+ in subscription revenue once at run rate
  • Managing forecasts and reporting on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis for the leadership team
  • Figuring out how to grow top line revenues while also demonstrating fiscal responsibility with regards to expense management. An entrepreneurial, resource scare approach is a must
  • Developing and refining your in-depth knowledge of our products and services as well as the larger talent acquisition tech space
  • Owning the sales process from start to finish while displaying all of the values of Talent Tech Labs of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Regularly providing feedback for our service development planning to enhance our offerings and provide ongoing value to our constituencies elevate the Talent Tech Labs brand in all markets
  • Presenting to a variety of executives one on one or in group settings
  • Networking with all levels of talent acquisition professionals, realizing it is better to collect a business card than hand one out
  • Working to build processes for sales automation with platforms like Hubspot or Salesforce 

You’re phenomenal at:

Listening. You understand the unique challenges facing talent acquisition teams and want to help deliver a best in class product that makes improves the process of building and evaluating their tech stack. You hear what they are saying and not saying and understand the huge impact of time can have on their ability to deliver results. You understand how to navigate a noisy landscape while being able to persistently and politely get to the decision maker.

You should have:

  • Five+ years of prior business development and sales experience selling consulting engagements, subscription-based executive level membership programs or HR software as service
  • Working knowledge of Talent Acquisition functions or experience with recruiting technologies
  • Experience working at a startup or early-stage company or product line
