Talent Tech Labs (TTL) was founded as the R&D lab of forward-thinking boutique staffing firm Mitchell Martin in New York City. An effort to help elevate the state of play in recruitment technology by founders who are never satisfied with the status quo. Forward thinkers, change agents but most importantly; operators from within in the recruitment business. Junior Analyst

The TTL team discovers and drives the adoption of new technology in how people are hired — and we’re growing! A Typical Day:

- Interact with emerging technology companies to gather data on their product, in some cases, this will be a vendor we know well in others it will be a new vendor. 
- Record observations in our internal database.
- Analyze data collected and synthesize information into a report for our research library. 
- Sit in a research meeting with the extended team to share market intelligence collected.
- Read industry news/research to stay up to speed on market changes.
- Support sales team by sharing market intelligence.

You’re phenomenal at:

All of our Junior Analysts share common traits and skills including insatiable curiosity, a knack for business, a drive to understand the truth and extreme attention to detail. Successful analysts can see beyond marketing copy, they ask poignant questions and don’t just take someone's word for it. We find our best analysts treat their job like an investigative reporter analyzing a crime scene.

You may have:

A Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in business or investigative reporting and two or more years of work experience within a professional business setting (or 1-2 business related internships)

A major plus:

- Experience in Recruitment technology, Talent acquisition, Contingent staffing/workforce/HR/labor issues
- Previous work at an analyst firm (e.g. Gartner, Corporate Executive Board, IDC, Forrester,  etc.) Or a large management consulting firm (e.g. McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte,etc.)
